We are a working dairy, beef and sheep farm. Our home dates from 1794 and is grade ll listed with a unique character including exposed beams, spacious rooms and old fireplaces. It is
a delightful stop on the way to and from Scotland and a good break in the journey to and from Northern Ireland. It is a good base for the unspoiled Eden Valley, Hadrian's Wall, southwest Scotland, the North Pennine Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Lake District and more.
Bedrooms overlook gardens with flowers, bird feeders and birds and, if you are very lucky, even a red squirrel
B and B guests in the farmhouse have the use of a large and comfortable sitting room with TV; warmed by a wood-burning stove (lit on cool evenings). Complimentary sherry awaits you in the sitting room in the evenings.
